Public Transportation

The constant turnover of riders makes public transportation extremely vulnerable to a variety of pest problems. A public transportation company must be careful to maintain a pest free and safe environment for the riding public. Any number of individuals may unwittingly transport bed bugs or cockroaches onto public transportation vehicles. Each public transportation vehicle may support pest populations, such as bed bugs, cockroaches, ants, and even rodents. Not only must the vehicles remain pest free, but so should the stations, training, and operational facilities. Outdoor invading insects, such as ants, sow bugs, millipedes, earwigs, subterranean termites, and stinging insects may find their way into these buildings. Outdoors, rodents may become entrenched near compactors, and dumpsters.

To minimize these threats to the welfare of the riding public, staff, guests, and buildings, establishing a thorough Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Program is mandatory. Amendt Pest Control will institute such a program by first conducting a thorough inspection and evaluation of your facility.

We will determine the scope of actual and potential pest problems, become completely familiar with the physical layout of your facility, and provide recommendations for your IPM program, followed by a detailed, written proposal for service.

Let our State-Certified and experienced sales and service team address your pest management requirements.
