Mosquitoes
are breeders and they spread diseases to both humans and pets. The female mosquito only needs a very small amount of water to lay up to 300 eggs. She will repeat the cycle 10 times on average during her lifespan. Mosquitoes can live for as long as six months in closed off areas like sheds, garages, and culverts. The diseases they carry include Zika, West Nile virus, encephalitis, and malaria can cause irreparable damage to humans. They also can damage are pets giving them heartworms.
